  • The new Venue shares its 1L turbo petrol engine with the Kia Sonet. However, the Sonet does not come with a conventional manual transmission. Instead, it is only available with a 6-speed auto-clutch manual transmission (ACMT) and 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission (DCT)
  • The new Venue turbo petrol, on the other hand, is available with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT
  • The Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV 3Xo offer larger 1.2L turbo petrol engines. While the Tata Nexon’s power and torque figures are on par with the new Venue, the XUV 3XO’s direct injection turbo petrol engine is the most powerful of the lot in this comparison

  • The new Venue 2026 and the Kia Sonet are not available with an automatic transmission
