Volkswagen India have teased a new and potentially more affordable variant of the Tayron SUV ahead of its launch on July 10. Currently, the Tayron is available in India in a single, fully-loaded R-Line variant. The upcoming Tayron variant is expected to retain the same 2.0L turbo petrol engine and all-wheel drive system while offering a few cosmetic changes.

Volkswagen India have launched the Tayron R-Line at Rs. x lakh (ex-showroom). The Tayron R-Line is essentially the 3-row version of the Tiguan R-Line and marks Volkswagen’s return to the premium 7-seater SUV segment after the discontinuation of the Tiguan AllSpace in 2021.

Volkswagen India have opened bookings for the 2026 Tayron R-Line for a token amount of Rs. 51,000. The Tayron R-Line is essentially a Tiguan R-Line with 3 rows of seats. Expected to launch in the coming days, the Tayron R-Line will mark Volkswagen India’s return to the premium 3-row SUV segment post the discontinuation of the Tiguan All-Space back in 2021.
