Volvo S60 (2021-2025) Specifications Features

The Volvo S90 premium sedan is no longer available for sale in India. Volvo India has removed the S90 from its official price list, signaling that the luxury sedan is now discontinued in the country. This move means that Volvo’s current lineup in India now consists entirely of SUVs, marking a clear strategic shift for the brand.

Volvo India have announced a price increase of up to 2% on its entire model range owing to rising input and volatile foreign exchange rates. The price hike will be effective from 1 January, 2024. Hence, now may be a good time to book your dream Volvo.

Volvo India recorded a 40% growth in sales by selling 1,751 units in the January-September 2023 period. The XC60 played a primary role in the sales growth by contributing 35% in the overall sales while the locally assembled XC40 Recharge EV accounted for 24% with 419 units sold in this period.

Volvo debuted the third-gen S60 in India in November 2020. The carmaker has now officially started accepting pre-launch bookings for the sedan. While we will have to wait till March 2021 to know the exact price of the new S60, Volvo is offering the new sedan at an introductory price of Rs 45.9 lakh for a limited number of bookings made online. The deliveries of cars booked during January and February will commence from mid-March.
