Lexus India introduced one of its first and one-of-a-kind ‘Lexus Meraki On Wheels’, an unique and innovative retail concept that aims to bring Lexus closer to potential buyers. Lexus India launched a brand space in Calicut, the 4th inclusive Meraki showroom in India, on July 31, 2023, inspired by the Greek concept of Meraki. The other 3 brand spaces are in Gurugram, Coimbatore, and Pune.

Lexus have opened a new brand experience centre in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The one-of-a-kind experience centre takes design inspiration from Coimbatore’s industrial legacy of engineering and textile.

A Youtuber managed to grab a screenshot of the Tata Punch bookings page where the carmaker mentioned that the Punch has a 5-star safety rating from GNCAP. However, later Tata removed that bit of information from the site. This raises a question: why Tata Motors might want to hide that bit of information from the potential buyers? After all, a good safety rating will only add to the car’s perceived value among buyers.

Mercedes has launched its flagship SUV, the Maybach GLS 600, at a starting price of Rs 2.43 crore (ex-showroom India). It is the second Mercedes Maybach offering in India after the previous-gen Maybach S-Class which starts at Rs 2.23 crore (ex-showroom India).

Mercedes Benz has confirmed that it will launch its first-ever Maybach SUV, the GLS 600, in India on 8 June 2021. It will be the second Maybach offering in India after the previous-gen Maybach S-Class which is currently on sale in the country.

Volkswagen has unveiled the Tiguan Allspace facelift. It features various cosmetic updates that look similar to the Tiguan facelift which will go on sale in India soon.

Volkswagen is all set to globally debut the Tiguan Allspace facelift on 12 May 2021 and the carmaker has recently teased the upcoming SUV. The teaser image reveals the updated tail lamp which looks similar to the units seen on the pre-facelift model however with a mild update.

Volvo recently debuted the XC40 Recharge in India and confirmed its launch for October 2021. At the same event, the carmaker also outlined its future plans for India which is in line with its global aim of having a full-electric car lineup by 2030.

Mercedes Benz has unveiled its second all-electric SUV, the EQA. It is the brand’s entry-level EV and is one of the six EQ models the carmaker plans to launch globally by 2022.
