MG have recently increased the prices of the 2026 Hector Plus. The Sharp Pro 7S variant with the 1.5L turbo petrol-manual powertrain got the biggest price hike of Rs. 50,800. The MG Hector Plus 2026 prices now start from Rs. 18.00 lakh and go up to Rs. 20.00 lakh. In percentage terms, the maximum price hike is 2.90% for the Sharp Pro 7S variant.

MG will soon officially enter the commercial business scene with MG Commute — their Windsor-based electric car for cab and fleet operators. The Commute will not carry the Windsor nameplate and will sell with only the Commute badging. Moreover, visually, MG will distinguish it by giving it fewer cosmetic and functional features. This will help in maintaining separate identities for the Windsor and Commute vehicles.

MG Motor India’s upcoming 3-row SUV, the Starlight 560, was spied testing recently. This comes shortly after the model’s design patent surfaced online, confirming MG’s plans to introduce a new SUV positioned above the Hector range. The Starlight 560 is expected to strengthen MG’s presence in the highly competitive D-segment SUV space.
