Skoda India’s upcoming sub-4 metre SUV was spied on test for the first time earlier this month. Now, new spy shots of the Skoda B2-segment SUV have emerged online. The latest spy shots show a lower variant of the yet-unnamed Skoda SUV undergoing tests.

In February, Skoda India announced a new SUV for the Indian market based on the brand’s heavy localised MQB-A0-IN platform. The new SUV will measure under 4 metres in length and rival other B2-segment SUVs like the 2024 Nexon, Brezza, Sonet and Venue, among others. The upcoming Skoda SUV was spied on test recently, ahead of its launch, which is expected in March 2025.

Skoda India have relaunched the Superb exactly a year after it was discontinued due to tightening emission norms. The 2024 Superb is only available with a turbo petrol engine mated with an automatic transmission. Only 100 units of the 2024 Skoda Superb are available on sale. Skoda India recently increased the prices of the Slavia by up to Rs. 1,400. After this price revision, the Slavia's ex-showroom prices now start at Rs. 11.53 lakh and tops out at Rs. 19.12 lakh. The new March 2024 prices are between 0% and 0.07% higher than before.

No variants of Slavia were discontinued by Skoda.

Skoda India recently increased the prices of the Kushaq by up to Rs. 38,000. After this price revision, the Kushaq's ex-showroom prices now start at Rs. 11.89 lakh and tops out at Rs. 20.49 lakh. The new March 2024 prices are between 0% and 1.95% higher than before.

No variants of Kushaq were discontinued by Skoda.

Skoda officials have confirmed they are exploring the possibility of reintroducing their diesel engine in India, albeit in the new Superb and Kodiaq flagship offerings only. Skoda offered their 2.0-litre diesel engine in India until last year when the Superb was silently discontinued after Phase 2 of the BS6 emission norms took effect on April 1, 2023.
