Skoda Auto India have announced a recall for select units of the second generation Kodiaq in India. The recall is related to a potential defect in the front seat frame, which could impact the effectiveness of the side airbags in the event of a crash.

According to information available on the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) website, a total of 221 units of the Kodiaq are affected by this recall. These units were manufactured between March 10 and December 8, 2025.
The issue is linked to the inner frame of the front seats, specifically the edge of the structure.
