The Mahindra Scorpio-N is an SUV while the Honda City 5th Gen is a sedan. The Scorpio-N is 4662mm long, 1917mm wide and 1857mm tall. The Scorpio-N’s wheelbase is 2750mm long. The City 5th Gen measures 4549mm long, 1748mm wide and 1489mm tall and has a wheelbase measuring 2600mm. In terms of dimensions, the Mahindra Scorpio-N is significantly larger than the Honda City 5th Gen. So, the Scorpio-N will offer a stronger road presence than the City 5th Gen.
The Scorpio-N has a ground clearance of 187mm while the City 5th Gen has a ground clearance of 165mm. The 460-litre boot space of the Scorpio-N is 46 litres smaller than that of the City 5th Gen.

The Mahindra Scorpio-N is available with a 2.0L turbo petrol engine, which is available with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed TC automatic transmission. The Scorpio-N’s turbo petrol engine makes 203PS of power at 5000rpm and 370Nm of torque between 1750rpm and 3000rpm with the manual and 380Nm of torque between 1750rpm and 3000rpm with the automatic transmission.
The Honda City 5th Gen is only available with a 1.5L normal petrol engine, which is available with a 6-speed manual and CVT automatic transmission. The City 5th Gen’s 1.5L normal petrol engine makes 121PS of power at 6600rpm and 145Nm of torque at 4300rpm.

The Mahindra Scorpio-N gets a 2.2L turbo diesel engine, which is available with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic TC transmission. The Scorpio-N’s turbo diesel engine makes 175PS of power at 3500rpm and 370Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 3000rpm with the manual and 400Nm of torque between 1750rpm and 2750rpm with the automatic transmission.
The 2.2L turbo diesel engine is also offered with a lower tune of 132PS of power at 3750rpm and 300Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 300rpm. The powertrain option with this tuning is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission.
The Honda City 5th Gen is only available with a 1.5L turbo diesel engine and a 6-speed manual transmission. This engine makes 100PS of power at 3600rpm and 200Nm of torque at 1750rpm.
