Skoda Auto India have opened bookings for the 2026 Kodiaq RS, the performance-oriented version of the Kodiaq SUV. The company has confirmed that only 50 units of the Kodiaq RS will be offered in India, making it one of the most exclusive Skoda models in the country.

Nissan have released a fresh teaser of the upcoming Tekton SUV ahead of its global debut on July 9, 2026. The new Tekton will mark Nissan's return to the highly competitive C-segment SUV space after the discontinuation of the Nissan Kicks in 2023. When launched it will take on rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Renault Duster, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq and the MG Astor.

It’s official: Tata Sierra EV 2026 will get 4WD with dual-motor variants. Tata Motors have recently posted a teaser video of the Sierra EV highlighting its rear wheel throwing some sand around in the dunes. If this wasn’t enough, they spelled it out too in the very next shot of the teaser. The information in the video reads: Sierra.ev; with QWD with Dual Motor. Quad wheel drive, in Tata’s lingo means 4WD with 2 motors — one on each axle to drive the respective wheels.

Citroen India have launched the updated 2026 eC3X electric SUV with a new Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) ownership model. The biggest highlight of the launch is the lower entry price of Rs. 6.89 lakh, which excludes the battery cost. Customers opting for the BaaS scheme will pay a separate battery usage charge starting from Rs. 2.26 per kilometer. Customers willing to pay the upfront cost of the battery can buy the electric SUV at Rs. 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base Live variant.

Maruti Suzuki have announced a new prepaid service package called the Smart Maintenance Plan (SMP). The service package is aimed at reducing vehicle maintenance costs and offering greater peace of mind to customers. Available for both private and commercial vehicles, the new plan allows customers to prepay for future servicing requirements and lock in current service prices for several years.

Maruti Suzuki have launched the 2026 WagonR Flex Fuel in India at a price of Rs. 7.24 lakh (ex-showroom). Rated to run on E20 to E85-blended petrol, the new Maruti hatchback is available in a single fully-loaded ZXI Plus variant and commands a premium of over Rs. 75,000 over the equivalent petrol-manual variant.

Nissan have increased the prices of the Gravite for June 2026. The 2026 Gravite has received a price hike ranging from Rs. 8,400 to Rs. 18,400. The 2026 Nissan Gravite prices now start from Rs. 5.74 lakh to Rs.9.09 lakh (ex-showroom). In percentage terms, the price hike ranges from 1.43% to 2.56%.

Toyota offer the Urban Cruiser Ebella in 3 broad variants — E1, E2 and E3. However, the brand has only revealed the prices of the top E3 variant for now. Citroen have teased the upcoming eC3 facelift ahead of its launch in India. This will be the first major update for the electric SUV since it was introduced in 2023. Maruti Suzuki have unveiled the WagonR Flex Fuel in India. The new WagonR Flex Fuel is designed to run on ethanol-blended petrol containing anywhere between 20% and 85% ethanol (E20-E85), supporting the government's push towards alternative fuels and reduced dependence on imported crude oil.

Kia have increased the prices of the Carens Clavis EV for June 2026. All variants of the 2026 Carens Clavis EV have received a price hike ranging from Rs. 500 to Rs. 1,500. The 2026 Kia Carens Clavis prices now start from Rs. 12.7 lakh and go up to Rs. 21.59 lakh. In percentage terms, the price hike ranges from 0.08% to 0.16%.

Kia have increased the prices of the Syros for June 2026. All variants of the 2026 Syros have received a price hike of Rs. 2,000. The 2026 Kia Syros prices now start from Rs. 8.42 lakh and go up to Rs. 14.82 lakh. In percentage terms, the price hike ranges from 0.15% to 0.24%.
