Mahindra Thar Engine Specs
The Mahindra Thar offers a range of engine options: a 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine, a 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine and a 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine.
The 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine delivers maximum power of 119PS at 3500rpm and 300Nm of peak torque between 1750rpm and 2500rpm, paired with a choice of 6-speed MT manual transmission .
The 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine is paired with a 6-speed MT manual transmission and a 6-speed TC automatic transmission and generates 152PS of maximum power at 5000rpm and 300Nm of peak torque between 1250rpm and 3000rpm.
The 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine provides 132PS of maximum power at 3750rpm and 300Nm of peak torque between 1600rpm and 2800rpm is available with either a 6-speed MT manual transmission or a 6-speed TC automatic transmission.
