The Toyota Innova Hycross is the latest entrant in the family MPV segment and it goes head-to-head against the Kia Carnival. Even though the Kia Carnival is larger and belongs to a higher segment, both MPVs offer similar features. Moreover, the Innova Hycross’ top variants’ prices are likely to clash with the Carnival’s ex-showroom prices.

Features Kia Carnival Gets Over Toyota Innova Hycross

In this article, we tell you 9 features of the Innova Hycross that you will miss in the Kia Carnival:

1. Rear Entertainment Screens

The top-spec Kia Carnival offers 2 10.1-inch entertainment screens behind the front seats. It is worth mentioning that the Innova Hycross sold in Indonesia also gets rear entertainment screens. However, Toyota aren’t offering these in the India-spec model.

2. 3-zone Climate Control

While the Innova Hycross offers individual climate control for front and rear passengers, the Kia Carnival offers a 3-zone climate control. The driver can adjust all the 3-zones right from the main climate control setup while rear passengers get dedicated controls placed on the roof of the Carnival.

3. Power-sliding Rear Doors

The Carnival is a full-size family van and it comes with power-sliding rear doors. You can open the sliding doors electronically by pressing the request sensor on the door handles. The Innova Hycross, on the other hand, comes with conventional doors.

4. 220V Laptop Charger

The Kia Carnival comes with a 220V laptop charger in the 2nd row. Hence, you can charge your laptop on the go and work comfortably on the captain seats of the Carnival. Apart from a laptop, it can also power other devices, such as a kettle.

5. Air Purifier

The Carnival comes with an in-built smart air purifier that purifies the cabin air and kills viruses and bacteria. Additionally, it also gets a perfume diffuser to kill odour and keep the cabin smelling fresh at all times.

6. Wireless Phone Charger And TPMS

The Kia Carnival also offers useful features like wireless phone charger and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). It is worth mentioning that while the Hycross doesn’t offer these features as standard, users can add these features for an additional cost from Toyota dealerships.

7. 10-way Power-adjustable Driver Seat

The driver’s seat in the Kia Carnival can be adjusted in 10 ways as opposed to the 8-way adjustability in the Innova Hycross. Furthermore, the Carnival also offers adjustable lumbar support for the driver.
