Even most buyers who have booked the car are not aware of the exact delivery date. However, dealerships have assured buyers that their car will be delivered before Diwali.
The fresh stock arriving at the dealerships signals that the wait won’t be that long. In Hindu culture, Shradh or Pitru Paksha period is considered inauspicious and the buying spree starts as soon as this period ends and Navratri starts. This time, the Navratri are starting on October 7. So, we can expect Mahindra dealerships to have picked Oct 7 as the day they start deliveries of the XUV700.
The Mahindra XUV700 managed to create quite a buzz among potential buyers. The XUV500 had the same magic around it when that car first arrived and for good reasons. The SUV has powerful engines, large dimensions and high-tech advanced driver-assist features. But what dropped everyone’s jaws on the floor is the starting price. The car starts at Rs. 12 lakh, which is even less than the XUV500’s starting price. The XUV700 comes across as a bigger, more powerful car with more features for less price.
