The Maruti Baleno just got its 2025 model year update and it now offers 6 airbags across all variants. The launch comes just days after Toyota updated the Glanza, which is essentially a rebadged Baleno, with 6 airbags as standard. The addition of 6 standard airbags has resulted in a slight price hike too.

The Baleno continues with 4 variants — Sigma, Delta, Zeta & Alpha. The updated Baleno petrol-manual variants are priced from Rs. 6.74 lakh to Rs. 9.46 lakh. The petrol-automatic variants are priced from Rs. 8.08 lakh to Rs, 9.96 lakh. The Baleno is also available with 2 CNG-manual variants, which are priced from Rs. 8.48 lakh to Rs. 9.41 lakh.

Despite the fact that only the Sigma and Delta variants were updated to include 6 airbags as standard, Maruti have hiked the prices of all variants across powertrain options by Rs. 4,000.

Apart from the addition of 6 airbags as standard, the feature list of the 2025 Baleno remains unchanged. Standard safety features include:

ESP with hill hold
All 3-point seatbelts with reminders
Brake assist
Reverse parking sensors
ISOFIX anchorages

The top Alpha variant even includes a 360-degree surround view camera.

The Baleno continues to be powered by a 90PS 1.2L normal petrol engine that comes with a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. It is also available with a factory-fitted CNG kit on the Delta and Zeta variants.
