Earlier this year, Nissan announced 2 new products for the Indian market – a B2-segment MPV and a C-segment SUV. The latter was revealed recently as the Nissan Tekton, which takes design inspiration from the Nissan Patrol and underpinnings from the upcoming Renault Duster.

Nissan have officially revealed the name of their upcoming C-SUV, which will rival the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti Grand Vitara, among others. The upcoming Nissan C-SUV will be called the Tekton, which they say means “craftsman” or “architect” in Greek. Take a look at the exterior and interior details of the upcoming Nissan Tekton SUV.

Nissan are expected to launch their new 7-seater MPV in early 2026. This new car will be based on the Renault Triber and share the same platform, engine and transmission options. At a joint press conference from Renault Nissan Alliance India Pvt. Ltd., the company confirmed that they will bring 2 new SUVs to India. One will have a standard 5-seat configuration while the other is likely to be a 3-row version based on the smaller SUV. Besides Nissan, Renault will also launch the rebadged and redesigned version of the 2 SUVs in India. This practice is similar to the currently-available Magnite and Kiger, which have considerably distinct personalities while sharing the engine-transmission combinations and the platform.
