January 2023 - Nissan Car Sales Figures - YoY Change
- For Nissan, the Kicks had zero dispatches in January compared to 150 units in January of 2022
- Nissan Kicks is a C-segment SUV from the carmaker, which saw significant rise in sales during the festive season during late October of this year. But post-diwali season, Kicks’ sales lost the temporary momentum it had gained.
- Nissan Magnite remains the only car that is selling for the carmaker and even that saw a decline of 26% in January.
- Although Kicks is still listed on the Nissan’s official website, Kicks consistently poor sales record is worrisome for the carmaker as it has no other car in the portfolio besides Magnite. This puts Nissan in a tough spot, as it would be hard to discontinue Kicks as it would have just one car to offer the market.
