Renault have officially unveiled the Bridger concept, previewing a new B2-segment SUV that will eventually join the brand’s India lineup. The concept offers a closer look at the design and engineering direction of the upcoming production model, which is expected to launch in India around 2027.

The French carmaker plans to launch 2 completely new cars, 2 new-gen models of its existing cars and an EV. These cars will be launched in India by April 2027.

Renault’s sister brand Dacia have unveiled the 2024 Spring EV. The new Spring EV is based on a modified version of the platform that underpins the Renault Kwid made in India. Meanwhile, Renault India are likely to launch the Kwid EV by 2025. However, they are yet to reveal its launch timeline.

While the Spring EV, which is based on the Renault Kwid, is currently on sale in select markets, Renault are yet to launch an EV in India. The brand showcased the Kwid EV at the 2020 Auto Expo but have not shared any launch timelines for their first EV in India.

Renault has updated its lineup for 2024 and has announced a new Renaulution strategy for the Indian market. Besides the upgraded versions of the current crop of cars, the new game plan includes the introduction of 5 new cars over the next 3 years.

Renault India have announced their annual Monsoon Checkup Camp. The service campaign is active from 17th to the 23th of July 2023. This will benefit Renault cars owners and help them maintain their vehicle during monsoons. It’ll also help them have safe driving in the rains as the vehicle can get back in top shape.

Many of us may have forgotten the Koleos from Renault. However, the name is not new in India. Renault launched their flagship Koleos SUV in India back in 2011 and it later received a facelift in 2014. However, it never set the sales chart on fire and was taken off the shelves in 2017. Now, the 2nd gen Koleos has made its appearance on our roads with red registration plates and we can’t help but wonder if it will launch here in the near future.
