BMW India have launched the X1 Long Wheelbase (LWB) in India at an introductory price of Rs. 49.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The new version is locally manufactured at BMW Group Plant Chennai and is available with a turbo petrol engine.

BMW India are set to launch the X1 LWB (long-wheelbase) in India on August 21, 2026. The stretched version of the X1 will be positioned as BMW’s most affordable long-wheelbase SUV with an internal combustion engine (ICE) in India. It will also serve as the ICE counterpart to the popular iX1 LWB.
