BYD India have announced a price revision across select variants of their electric vehicle lineup. Effective from July 1, 2026, prices of select variants of the Atto 3, Seal and Sealion 7 have increased by between Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 1 lakh. Alongside the price hike, BYD have also expanded the eMAX 7 range with new Comfort variants featuring a larger battery pack.
BYD Increases Prices Of Select EV Variants
According to BYD, the latest price revision has been implemented due to rising input costs, inflationary pressures and continued investments in technology and dealership expansion.
The revised prices apply to select variants of the following models:
- Atto 3
- Seal
- Sealion 7
However, prices of some Atto 3 variants and the existing eMAX 7 lineup remain unchanged.
BYD eMAX 7 Comfort Variant Introduced
Alongside the revised pricing, BYD have launched new Comfort variants of the eMAX 7 at a starting price of Rs. 27.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
The biggest update is the adoption of a 71.8kWh battery pack, which was previously reserved for higher variants. The new variant aims to offer buyers a longer driving range at a more accessible price point.
