The Seltos X-Line is based on the GTX Plus variant. This top-spec GTX Plus trim is available with the following powertrain options:

    Seltos GTX Plus Powertrains

    Seltos GTX Plus Ex-Showroom Prices

    Seltos X-Line Expected Ex-Showroom Prices

1.4-litre turbo petrol with manual transmission

    Rs. 16.66 lakh

    Rs. 16.99 lakh

1.4-litre turbo petrol with dual-clutch automatic transmission

    Rs. 17.45 lakh

    Rs. 17.79 lakh

1.5-litre turbo diesel with torque converter automatic transmission

    Rs. 17.66 lakh

    Rs. 17.99 lakh

We are expecting to see the X-Line option to carry a premium of about Rs. 35,000 over the GTX Plus variant. While it does sound too little for the package, we must note that the competition in the C-segment and D-segment SUV space is heating up. Mahindra XUV700’s starting price of Rs. 12 lakh is shockingly good for a car that’s much bigger than the Seltos and packs a decent kit as well.

The MG Astor is also just around the corner and it has the Creta and Seltos in its sight. So, a modest price hike over the GTX Plus makes total sense even if the entire Seltos range is not carrying any notable discounts right now.
