Mahindra BE6, XEV 9e Long Range Variants Now Cheaper By Up To Rs. 4 Lakh! | V3Cars
The Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e’s long range variants are now more affordable than before. The homegrown carmaker has announced the larger 79kWh battery pack is now available in the Pack Two variant of the BE 6 and XEV 9e electric SUVs. The larger battery pack was earlier limited to the top Pack Three variants of both SUVs. We believe Mahindra’s latest decision prioritises customers who seek more range than top-end features. Let’s take a look at the prices of the BE 6 and XEV 9e’s Pack Two variants.

Mahindra BE 6, XEV 9E Pack Two Variants Launched With 79kWh Battery
The Pack Two variant of the BE 6 and XEV 9e are now available with 2 battery pack options – 59kWh and 79kWh:

Mahindra are charging a premium of Rs. 1.6 lakh for the Pack Two variants equipped with the larger battery pack. But what’s even more exciting for customers is the fact that the BE6 Pack Two long range variant is now Rs. 3.4 lakh more affordable than the top Pack Three variant while the XEV 9e Pack Two long range variant is Rs. 4 lakh more affordable than the top Pack Three variant.
Note: All waiting customers will have the opportunity to upgrade their bookings to the new Pack Two 79 kWh variant if desired.
The BE 6 long range variants offer a claimed range of 683km, which is 126km more than the variants equipped with the smaller 59kWh battery pack. Likewise, the XEV 9e long range variants offer a claimed range of 656km, which is 114km.
Mahindra BE 6 & XEV 9e Pack Two Delivery Timeline
Since the launch of the 2 electric SUVs, Mahindra have only commenced deliveries of the top Pack Three variant. Mahindra have now stated that deliveries of the mid Pack Two variants of both the XEV 9e and BE 6 will commence from the end of July 2025.
