Toyota Kirloskar Motor Digital Learning Initiative

Here’s what Toyota Kirloskar Motor have to say about the Multimedia Learning Infrastructure initiative:

The initiative was inaugurated last month by Sri P. M. Narendra Swamy, Hon’ble MLA of Malavalli Taluk and Chairman of the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, in the presence of senior leadership from Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM).

Under the programme, 37 government high schools will be digitally connected through an innovative broadcast model. Six broadcasting and recording stations will deliver live teaching sessions to 31 receiving stations across the Malavalli Education Block, enabling curriculum-based lessons to be delivered simultaneously across multiple schools. The digitised classrooms are equipped with DLED touch point digital smart boards pre-loaded with digital education content aligned with the state and NCERT syllabus, along with Wi-Fi connectivity, cameras, and UPS systems to support an interactive learning environment.

Appreciating TKM’s efforts, Sri P. M. Narendra Swamy said:

“Technology-driven education is essential to ensure that every student, regardless of their location, has access to quality learning opportunities. TKM’s Initiative represents a forward-thinking approach to addressing educational challenges in our region. This digitisation will create a strong foundation for their academic success and future careers. I commend TKM for its sustained commitment to community development through education.”

Mr. Sudeep Dalvi, Chief Communication Officer, Project Senior Vice President & Head State Affairs, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said:

“We firmly believe that education is the cornerstone of community development and social progress. This Initiative reflects TKM’s commitment to ensuring that students in rural areas have the same opportunities and resources as those in urban regions to reach their full potential. The program aligns with TKM’s philosophy of empowering communities and building a brighter future for the next generation.”

TKM’s Multimedia Learning Infrastructure Initiative is expected to enhance access to quality education, support teachers with standardised digital teaching tools, improve student engagement through audio-visual learning, reduce dropout rates, strengthen digital literacy, and improve academic outcomes. It also aims to address infrastructure constraints, ensure uniform curriculum delivery across participating schools, improve literacy levels, foster a sustainable education ecosystem, and build greater community confidence in government schools.

The project represents a significant milestone in TKM’s ongoing commitment to educational development in Karnataka, establishing a sustainable framework intended to benefit thousands of students in the coming years. The company is working in close coordination with the Malavalli Taluk Education Department and the Government of Karnataka to implement the initiative.
