BYD India have announced a price revision across select variants of their electric vehicle lineup. Effective from July 1, 2026, prices of select variants of the Atto 3, Seal and Sealion 7 have increased by between Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 1 lakh. Alongside the price hike, BYD have also expanded the eMAX 7 range with new Comfort variants featuring a larger battery pack.

The reserves were discovered in the Reasi district of Jammu. The “inferred resources G3” indicates that the estimates are with low confidence. However, the discovery should still yield enough raw material to scale lithium battery manufacturing in India.
