Tata recently launched the Tiago NRG facelift with a price tag of Rs. 6.57 lakh for the manual transmission and Rs. 7.09 lakh with the automatic. The Tiago NRG adds a few extra features that aren’t available in the XZ Plus variant. But, did you know that it also removes a few? With the manual transmission, the Tiago NRG costs Rs. 7,500 more than the Tiago XZ Plus dual-tone. Meanwhile, with the automatic, the price gap shrinks to Rs. 4,500.

The biggest difference between the two car’s dimensions is in their ground clearances. The Tiago hatchback has a respectable 170mm of ground clearance while the Tiago NRG beats it by 11mm. The NRG’s ground clearance stands at 181mm. The NRG is also a bit longer because of the extra cladding on the bumpers. Other than that, they’re both identical or almost identical.
