Mahindra have launched the latest iteration of their 3-door SUV Thar with the name ‘Thar OG’. The updated SUV gets a comprehensive set of mechanical, cosmetic, and convenience feature updates. The new Mahindra Thar OG may look like a heavily updated version of the outgoing Thar, but some of its most important changes are underneath the body. Mahindra have reworked the frame, suspension, dampers and steering to improve its ride, handling and stability.

Mahindra launched the 2026 Thar OG on September 22 at a starting price of Rs. 10.32 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the updated Thar 3-door SUV are now open. The Thar OG is offered in 3 variants with a choice of 2 turbo diesel and one turbo petrol engine.
