The new upgraded 2020 Honda Jazz facelift is expected to launch with a refreshed styling and BS6 powertrains. The new Jazz is likely to launch soon after the lockdown ends. Prior to its impending launch, the BS6 Honda Jazz was recently caught testing the roads. The spy pictures of the hatchback that splashed on the internet showed a fully camouflaged test prototype model that wore an emission testing device at its rear-end.
The BS6 compliant Honda Jazz will retain its 1.2-litre petrol engine and 1.5-litre diesel engines. Presently, the petrol engine makes 90PS of power and 110Nm of torque, while the diesel engine delivers 100PS of power and 200Nm of torque. The 2020 Jazz is likely to retain these performance figures. The petrol Jazz gets a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic transmission while the diesel engine is available with a 6-speed manual transmission only. With the 2020 update, the Jazz diesel could gain a CVT automatic as well, which is also available in the Amaze.
Meanwhile, Honda Cars India is also busy working on its WR-V crossover’s facelift model as well.
