Tata Motors have launched the 2026 Tiago petrol and CNG at prices starting at Rs. 4.69 lakh and Rs. 5.79 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. The new Tiago ICE continues to offer the same powertrain options as before, including petrol-manual, petrol-automatic, CNG-manual and CNG-automatic.
In this article, we’ll explore the variant-wise powertrain options and their specifications. Tata are offering the Tiago 2026 in 6 variants – Smart, Pure, Pure Plus, Pure Plus A, Creative and Creative Plus.
2026 Tata Tiago – Variant-Wise Engine And Transmission Options
The 2026 Tiago ICE is available with the following 3 powertrain options:
- 1.2L normal petrol-manual (5MT)
- 1.2L normal petrol-automatic (5AMT)
- 1.2L CNG-manual (5MT)
- 1.2L CNG-automatic (5AMT)
The following table presents the variant-engine-transmission combinations of the Tata Tiago 2026:
- The 2026 Tiago Smart base model is only available with the petrol-manual and CNG-manual powertrain
- The Tiago petrol automatic is available in Pure, Plus, Pure Plus A, Creative and Creative Plus variants
- The Tiago CNG manual is available in all variants except the top Creative Plus trim
- The Tiago CNG automatic is available in Pure, Plus, Pure Plus A and Creative variants
- The Tiago CNG AMT is not offered in the Smart base variant and Creative Plus top model
