2026 Tata Tiago EV Variant-Wise Prices

Here’s a price comparison of the new and old Tata EV Tiago variants. 

Note: The variant names of the new model Tiago EV have been changed to reflect the new naming convention followed by Tata:

• The starting price of the 2026 Tiago has decreased by Rs. 1 lakh
• Prices of other variants have also decreased, depending on the variant, from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1.15 lakh
• Tata continues offering 19kWh and 24kWh battery packs
• The 24kWh battery pack now supports a higher charging speed of 30kW as compared to 25kW in the 2025 electric Tiago
• 2026 Tata Tiago EV 19kWh and 24kWh battery packs offer MIDC range of 226km and 285km, respectively

2026 Tata Tiago EV Rivals

The Tiago EV’s only direct B1-segment rival is the JSW MG Motor Comet EV. Unlike the Comet EV, the Tiago EV offers a larger hatchback body style with four doors, higher claimed range and DC fast charging support.

2026 Tata Tiago EV BaaS and Buyback Program

Tata has announced a Battery-as-a-Service program for the new Tiago EV. The Tiago electric Smart 19kWh BaaS price starts at Rs. 4.69 lakh. This includes a battery EMI of Rs. 2.6 per km, considering a daily usage of up to 44km. 

Tata is also offering Tiago EV BaaS buyers a 40 percent to 60 percent buyback option for ownership periods ranging from 3 years to 5 years. The buyback options will be offered in collaboration with a third-party insurance company.
