    Kia Sonet Dual-Tone To Be Priced At A Premium Of Rs 10,000

    Kia has launched the Sonet in India. It is available in six variants: HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+ and GTX+, with prices ranging from Rs 6.71 lakh to Rs 12.89 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). While Kia announced the prices of most of its variants, the carmaker skipped on the prices of the dual-tone variants of the Sonet. Now, Kia has announced prices of the dual-tone variants and they are priced at a premium of Rs 10,000 over the corresponding monotone variants.

    Dual-tone colour options on the Sonet are available on HTX+ and the GTX+ variants only and here is the detailed price list:

    Kia Sonet dual-tone is available in three colour options only: Intense Red with black roof, Beiger Gold with black and Glacier White Pearl with black roof. Other monotone options on offer include Intense Red, Beige Gold, Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, Steel Silver, Intelligency Blue, Glacier White Pearl and Clear White.

    As seen in the table, the dual-tone variants are offered with 1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine only. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol makes 120PS and 172Nm paired to either a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed DCT. The 1.5-litre diesel engine, on the other hand, makes 100PS and 240Nm mated to a 6-speed MT. A more powerful version of the diesel engine is also on offer. It makes 115PS and 250Nm and is mated to a 6-speed torque converter only.
