Speaking on the launch of the limited editions for the Volkswagen Polo and Vento, Steffen Knapp, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India said, "At Volkswagen, we constantly enhance our product offerings to keep up with the fast changing trends and consumer aspirations. The Polo and Vento have been amongst our best-selling carlines since its inception in the Indian market. Through continuous value additions in our product portfolio, we aim to give our customers the power of choice."
Talking about the additional features on offer with these limited edition cars, VW offers Polo Pace with the diamond cut 15-inch alloy wheels only called “RAZOR” by the automaker as the additional feature while the Vento Sport gets a set of 16-inch wheels, 'sport' badging and black outside rear view mirrors, the black theme continues with a black roof, black side decals across the front and rear doors and a black lip boot spoiler. Apart from this, the Vento Sport is now available in a brand new dynamic color option “Flash Red”.
Under the hood, the Volkswagen Polo range is available with two petrol and one diesel engine option including a 1-litre naturally aspirated or a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine, the diesel engine is a 1.5-litre, turbocharged 4-cylinder motor that is available in two states of tune. However, in Vento the same 1.5-litre diesel engine is also available in the higher state of tune while the petrol engines include the 1.2-litre TSI motor or the naturally aspirated 1.6-litre petrol engine.
