Mercedes introduces the most powerful Mercedes-AMG E63 ever

by V3Cars Team on Saturday, Dec 03 2016

The German luxury car manufacturing trio is in a perpetual war with each other when creating the best cars that are high on practicality as well as supercar performance. While it can’t be said which particular German luxury giant actually is winning, at the moment, Mercedes-Benz certainly has an edge with its new sports sedan models. The company currently has an upper hand with the introduction of the all-new Mercedes-AMG E63 and the Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4MATIC.

When it comes to the 4-door sports sedans, the luxury car majors of the world fight very closely with each other. However, with their fast and furious luxury saloons, the German luxury car giants are the ones that practically rule the roost and also fight most aggressively with each other.

The biggest attraction on this compelling sports saloon is of course its indomitable power. When talking about the new Mercedes-AMG E63, one has to begin with its monstrous engine. Interestingly, smaller is better and more powerful now, thanks to the advanced technology. So, replacing the 6.3 liter, there is now a 4.0 liter twin turbocharged V8 motor, which is capable of belting out a humongous 612 bhp of power. In order to efficiently utilize this massive power without having its tyres explode, the all new E63 and the new E63 S have been now empowered with the new AMG Performance 4MATIC+ All Wheel Drive system. This merges all the advantages of the several drive configurations. The vehicle’s Torque distribution on the front as well as rear axles that until now has been rear based, has now for the first time become fully variable. Of course, the transmission duty is handled very sophistically, and it is taken care of by the 9 speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT sports transmission that has been also empowered with a wet start-off clutch system for the very first time. These technological enhancements will facilitate better agility and time response. The Mercedes-AMG E63 has become faster too. The E63 models have been endowed with enabled Racestart feature, which makes the E63 S reach the mark of 100kmph in just 3.4 seconds. The standard E63 is equally fast and hits the mark in only 3.5 seconds.

Moreover, there’s the Drift Mode which is another feature to add to the joy of the new Mercedes-AMG E63 owners. This indigenous feature is offered as standard on the new Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4MATIC and it can convert the car into a rear wheel drive only vehicle offering the drive flexibility.

Having talked about the mean power and super technological prowess of the Mercedes-AMG E63, it can now be said that the super saloon remains the same drool worthy both on the outside as well as on the inside. The ever more powerful Mercedes-AMG E63 flaunts its patent menacing AMG looks while being luxurious on the inside. It is characterized by its massive air dams, large 20-inch alloy wheels and muscular tyres, the Mercedes-AMG E63 remains the unmistakable sports sedan leader. The new Mercedes-AMG E63 and E63 S 4MATIC will have its global launch in 2017, and is likely to hit India soon after.
