The ZS EV owners will reportedly get free fast charging for a limited period. Using a charger installed at home outlet can take around 4-6 hours. A DC fast charger can take the battery capacity from 0 to 80% in 60 minutes.

MG Motor is also working towards bringing the cost of electric vehicles down to under-Rs. 10 lakh. Their first electric vehicle, the eZS, will compete with the Hyundai Kona with an ex-showroom price of around Rs. 22 lakh. MG Motor is also aiming to bring the price of electric vehicles under Rs. 15 lakh. The carmaker plans to launch an even cheaper EV in the next 4 years with a price tag of under Rs. 10 lakh.
