French carmaker Renault has finally taken the wraps off of its brand new sub-4m MPV – Triber. The Triber is the second 7-seater model in India from the house of Renault after the Lodgy MPV. Excepting the Datsun GO+, the Renault MPV is the only sub-4 meter MPV model in India that offers 7-seater configuration. Nevertheless, it is more premium than that of the Datsun Go+.
The Renault Triber is the formal name of what has been testing in India under the codename of RBC for quite some time. The new French MPV is based on the modified version of the Kwid hatchback’s CMF-A platform. At its global premiere in New Delhi, the new Renault Triber MPV flaunted a design that is reminiscent of the Kwid hatchback that is known for its crossover-like design, while the Triber does get its individualistic styling appeal with the help of newly designed styling elements.
Renault aims the Triber for those car buyers, who wish to get a compact city-friendly car that offers great interior space along with superior practicality.
