The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is the latest entrant in the B2-segment SUV space. While it sits below the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, its turbo petrol engine and SUV proportions make it a worthy competitor to the Tata Nexon.

In this article, we share the features that are missing in the Fronx but available in the Tata Nexon.
The Nexon offers a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) in its top variants whereas the Fronx lacks this feature. TPMS in the Nexon tells the correct tyre pressure of individual tyres and warns in case of a puncture or under-inflated tyre.
While the Nexon offered leatherette seats in the top variants, the Kaziranga edition added front ventilated seats. The Fronx, on the other hand, not only lacks front seat ventilation but also misses leatherette seat upholstery.
The Nexon comes with cornering lamps that are incorporated within the fog lamps. The Fronx, on the other hand, doesn’t get cornering lamps or fog lamps. Hence, while doing tighter turns, the Nexon will light up the road better than the Fronx.

The Nexon offers automatic headlamps and wipers from its XMS variant. While the new Fronx gets automatic LED headlights, it lacks automatic or rain-sensing wipers.
Tata Nexon offers 3 drive modes that tweak the throttle response and overall performance of the engine. The 3 drive modes are eco, city and sport. The Fronx, on the other hand, only gets 1 drive mode for the automatic transmission that comes in handy while hauling heavy loads.
The Nexon offers a neat space to store your sunglasses whereas the Fronx misses this feature. It is worth mentioning that while the sunglass holder in the Nexon is lined on the inside, it’s positioned on the roof and it doesn’t get a cover. Hence, there are chances of your glasses dropping while driving on rough roads.
The Nexon offers both front and rear armrests whereas the Fronx only offers a front armrest. The rear armrest is a common feature in the B2-segment and Maruti Suzuki should have offered this feature at least in the top variants of the Fronx.

The Tata Nexon offers height adjustable seatbelts in its top variants. The Maruti Suzuki Fronx, on the other hand, doesn’t offer height-adjustable seatbelts even in the top variants. Height-adjustable seatbelts let a short person adjust the height of the seatbelt for better comfort and safety.
The Tata Nexon offers a cooled glove box that keeps your beverages cool. The Fronx, on the other hand, doesn’t offer a cooled glove box. A cooled glove box helps retain the temperature of your cool drinks on the move.
The Nexon offers an electric sunroof from its XMS variant onwards. The Fronx, on the other hand, doesn’t offer a sunroof even in its top variant.
