7 Features Maruti Suzuki Fronx Gets But Tata Nexon Doesn’t | V3Cars
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is the latest entrant in the B2-segment SUV space. While it sits below the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, its turbo petrol engine and SUV proportions make it a worthy competitor to the Tata Nexon.

In this article, we share the features that are missing in the Nexon but available in the Fronx.
1. Side Thorax And Curtain Airbags
The top variants of the Fronx offer side thorax and curtain airbags whereas the Nexon offers only 2 front airbags. It is worth noting that the Nexon received a 5 star safety rating from Global NCAP. The Fronx, on the other hand, is yet to get tested by Global NCAP.
2. 360-Degree Camera
The Fronx offers a 360-degree parking camera over the Nexon, which only gets a reverse parking camera. It is worth noting that a 360-degree parking camera not only offers a bird’s eye view but also warns the driver with an alert in case the system detects any obstacles around the car.

3. Head-Up Display
The Fronx is the only other sub-compact SUV in the country to offer a head-up display. It uses a projection setup to display data like fuel efficiency, vehicle speed, engine RPM and more. It is worth noting that the Nexon gets a digital instrument cluster but the Fronx gets conventional dials.
4. LED Headlights
The new Fronx gets an all-LED setup for the headlights. Its headlights get twin LED setup that sit low on the bumper. The Nexon, on the other hand, gets halogen projector headlights. However, the Nexon offers fog lamps with cornering function that are missing on the Fronx.
5. Telescopic Steering
The new Fronx gets both tilt and telescopic steering whereas the Nexon only gets tilt steering. The former is sorely missed in the Nexon as a tilt and telescopic steering helps the driver find the ideal driving position that ensures comfort over both short and long drives.

6. Paddle Shifters
Along with the new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, Maruti Suzuki also offer paddle shifters with the new Fronx. The Nexon, on the other hand, lacks paddle shifters. It is worth mentioning that only the turbo petrol variants of the Fronx offer paddle shifters.
7. 9.0-Inch Touchscreen Infotainment System
The new Fronx comes with a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and telematics. The Nexon, on the other hand, gets a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
