As we get closer to the launch date of the new 2021 Honda Amaze facelift, new details are emerging with a higher probability of accuracy. After Honda almost confirmed the projector headlamps and LED taillamps for the Amaze in a teaser, the brochure leak adds a new feature to the list.
From the teaser released on the day the bookings started, we had inferred that the Amaze facelift will get projector headlamps possibly with LED lights and LED taillamps. The brochure now adds more authority to this fact confirming that the car will get LED projector headlamps at least in the higher trims. The headlights will also come with light-sensors to automatically turn on as it gets darker and turn off at dawn. This feature is all the more important when driving through tunnels and underpasses.
The latest feature here is the inclusion of a multi-angle rear-view camera. The leak suggests that the car’s camera can switch between a wide view, a focussed view and a top-down view. The top-down view will come in especially handy while parking the car in tight spaces with pinpoint accuracy without scratching the rear bumper.
The Amaze facelift will also get minor touch-ups here and there like restyled bumpers with chrome accents and a new alloy wheel design. Other than that, expect the car to carry over the current feature set and powertrains. It will continue with the 1.2-litre normal petrol and 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine. Both, with a choice of manual and a CVT automatic.
