The discontinuation of the E CNG variant has a bigger impact on the entry price of the Aura CNG range. Earlier, the Aura CNG range started from Rs. 6.91 lakh with the E variant. After the June 2026 update, the Aura CNG range starts from the S variant at Rs. 7.82 lakh.

For the 1.2L normal petrol-manual Aura, Hyundai have left the base E variant unchanged at Rs. 6.00 lakh. The S and SX variants get a price hike of Rs. 5,700, while the SX (O) variant is now dearer by Rs. 5,710.

Hyundai have discontinued the Aura S petrol-auto variant with the June 2026 update. This leaves the SX Plus as the only petrol-AMT option in the Aura range. The SX Plus AMT gets a price hike of Rs. 5,700 and now costs Rs. 8.35 lakh, ex-showroom.
The following table presents the old vs new ex-showroom prices of the 2026 Hyundai Aura 1.2L CNG-manual variants for June 2026, along with the variant-wise price difference and percentage change:
Hyundai have discontinued the base E CNG-manual variant of the Aura with this update. The S, Corporate and SX CNG-manual variants get a uniform price hike of Rs. 5,700. Earlier, buyers could enter the Aura CNG range at Rs. 6.91 lakh. Now, the most affordable Aura CNG variant costs Rs. 7.82 lakh, which raises the entry point of the CNG lineup significantly.
Overall, the June 2026 update for the Hyundai Aura is more about variant rationalisation than a major price hike. Hyundai have discontinued the S petrol-AMT and E CNG variants, while the remaining variants get a mild price hike of up to Rs. 5,710. For buyers, the bigger impact is on the entry-level automatic and CNG options, as both have become less accessible after this update.
