Mercedes-Benz have taken the wraps off the upcoming C-Class. The main rivals of the C-Class are BMW 3-Series, Jaguar XE, Audi A4, Volvo S60 and Lexus ES300H. Here are the dimensions, engine specs and top features of this D2-segment sedan.

The C-Class is a D2-segment sedan that measures 4751mm in length, 1820mm in width. Mercedes-Benz have not yet revealed the height, ground clearance, boot space and fuel tank capacity of the C-Class as of today. It sports a wheelbase of 2865mm that is 25mm more than the outgoing model.

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is available with 2 engine options: a 1.5L hybrid petrol and a 2.0L hybrid diesel.
The 1.5L hybrid petrol engine makes 204PS of peak power and 300Nm of peak torque. This engine is available with a 9-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The 2.0L hybrid diesel engine churns out 200PS of peak power and 440Nm of peak torque. The 2.0L hybrid diesel engine gets a 9-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Both the petrol and diesel engines in the C-Class come with a mild-hybrid system which assists with 20PS of power and 200Nm of torque when needed.
