Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Expected Prices | V3Cars

Maruti Suzuki recently revealed the Grand Vitara Hybrid SUV. The Grand Vitara will replace the S-Cross in the market and rival other C-Segment SUVs like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos when it goes on sale in early September. In the meantime, we try to calculate the expected prices of the Grand Vitara based on its features, perceived value, and historical price strategy of Maruti Suzuki India Limited.

We expect Maruti Suzuki to launch the Grand Vitara with an introductory starting price of Rs. 9.50 lakh. The manual variants are likely to range from Rs. 9.50 lakh to Rs. 15.50 lakh whereas the automatic variants could start from Rs. 12.50 lakh and go up to Rs. 15 lakh. Maruti Suzuki are likely to charge a premium of Rs. 1.50 lakh for the automatic variants over the corresponding manual variants. The top-spec Alpha variant of the Grand Vitara will also get AWD and we expect that to come at a price of Rs. 15.50 lakh.

Unlike the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder that comes with 3 hybrid variants, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will offer only two hybrid variants, named Zeta Plus and Alpha Plus. We expect the Zeta Plus and Alpha Plus to cost Rs. 17.00 lakh and Rs. 18.00 lakh respectively.
