After the launch of the Dark Editions last month, Citroen have now launched the C3 CNG, which comes with a manufacturer-approved CNG kit. The 2025 Citroen CNG is priced from Rs. 7.16 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. In this article, we take a look at the variant-wise other prices and other details about the 2025 C3 CNG.
2025 Citroen C3 CNG – Variant-Wise Prices
Here are the variant-wise prices of the Citroen C3 CNG compared with the prices of the 1.2L normal petrol variants.
The 2025 Citroen C3 CNG variants are priced at a premium of Rs. 93,000 over the corresponding normal petrol variants.
The 2025 C3 CNG is aimed at the Tata Punch CNG and Hyundai Exter CNG. The Tata Punch CNG is priced from Rs. 7.30 lakh to Rs. 10.17 lakh (ex-showroom). Powered by a 1.2L engine, the Punch CNG produces 74PS of power and 103Nm of torque. The Exter CNG, on the other hand, is priced from Rs. 7.51 lakh to Rs. 9.53 lakh (ex-showroom). The Hyundai CNG SUV is powered by a 1.2L engine that produces 69PS of power and 95Nm of peak torque.
2025 Citroen C3 CNG Mileage Revealed
First off, it is important to note that the CNG retrofitment is only available for the C3’s 1.2L normal petrol variants. Thus, these CNG kits are not available with the 1.2L turbo petrol variants of the hatchback. If you opt for the CNG kit, the kit will be fitted by Citroen’s authorised dealers only.
Equipped with a 55-litre CNG tank, the C3 CNG offers a range of 170km - 200km on CNG. The C3 CNG also gets the standard 30-litre petrol tank. Citroen claim the C3 CNG offers a mileage of 28.1kmpkg and a running cost of Rs. 2.66 per km.
While the 2025 C3 CNG may not boast a factory-fitted CNG kit, Citroen say it is installed by Lovato, a brand that has been offering CNG and LPG kits since 2003. The CNG filling point is located conveniently under the petrol fuel flap, which should make filling up the C3 CNG a breeze. Since the CNG tank resides in the boot, the new C3 CNG also gets a detachable spare wheel that can be removed easily to liberate more boot space.
Citroen are offering the C3 CNG with a 3 year/1 lakh km warranty for both the vehicle and the CNG kit. Other feature highlights include:
- Tropicalised automatic climate control
- 180mm of ground clearance
- 6 airbags
