Citroen India have introduced a special new version of their popular C3 hatchback called the Citroen C3 Sport Edition. This limited-run model brings exclusive styling changes to both the exterior and interior, along with some new features, aiming to give the C3 a more dynamic and personalised appeal.
2025 Citroen C3 Sport Edition Ex-Showroom Prices
The 2025 C3 Sport Edition is available for an additional cost of Rs. 21,000 over the standard variants. It can be had with all existing C3 variants: Live, Feel, and Shine. Prices for the Citroen C3 Sport Edition start from Rs 6.44 lakh (ex-showroom).
What's New With 2025 C3 Sport Edition?
The Citroen C3 primarily competes with other hatchbacks in India, such as the Maruti Wagon R, Tata Tiago, and Maruti Celerio. The new Sport Edition aims to offer a more distinct and feature-rich option within this competitive segment:
Exterior Enhancements:
- Sport Edition decals: New graphics on the front bumper, bonnet, roof, and doors, with “Sport Edition” badges on the front doors.
- New Garnet Red exterior paint: A fresh and exclusive color option for the C3 Sport Edition.
- Dual-tone sporty decals: Additional dual-tone graphics on various body panels, including the tailgate and lower door sections.
Interior Enhancements:
- Edition-specific pedals: Metal pedals for a sporty touch.
- Custom seat covers: New black and red leatherette upholstery with “Sport” badging.
- Matching floor mats: Black fabric mats with red highlights and Citroen lettering.
- Seatbelt cushions: For added comfort and styling.
- Ambient lighting: Creates a more inviting atmosphere inside the cabin.
Optional Tech Kit Introduced For Added Convenience
Citroen are also offering an optional Tech Kit for an additional Rs. 15,000. This kit includes 2 useful features:
- A wireless phone charger for hassle-free device charging.
- A dashcam for recording your journeys and enhancing safety.
2025 Citroen C3 Features And Safety
The Citroen C3 Sport Edition maintains the existing feature set of the standard C3, which includes:
- 7-inch digital driver’s display
- 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system
- Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- Automatic climate contro.
- 4 speaker audio system
- Height-adjustable driver’s seat
- All 4 power windows with one-touch down function
On the safety front, the C3 Sport Edition is equipped with:
- Up to 6 airbags (2 airbags standard)
- Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
- Hill Hold Assist
- Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
- 3-point seatbelts for all passengers
- ISOFIX child seat anchorages
- Rear parking camera and sensors
Citroen C3 Sport Edition Powertrain Unchanged
The Sport Edition features no changes to the powertrains available for the C3:
The 1.2L normal petrol engine produces 82PS of power and 115Nm of torque and is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. For those seeking more power, the 1.2L turbo petrol engine generates 110PS of power and 190Nm of torque with the 6-speed manual transmission, or 205Nm of torque with the 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
