2025 Citroen C3X Launched; Prices Reduced By Up To Rs. 1.29 Lakh | V3Cars

Just days after announcing the ‘Citroen 2.0’ growth strategy, Citroen India have launched the 2025 C3 X at a starting price of Rs. 7.91 lakh. The new C3 X is based on the top Shine variant of the small SUV. However, it offers several new features that were lacking in the C3 earlier.

The new C3 X Shine variants are priced from Rs. 7.91 lakh to Rs. 9.9 lakh (ex-showroom).

In other news, Citroen have decreased the price of the C3. For reference, the base Live variant is now Rs. 98,000 cheaper than before, while the Feel variant is Rs. 1.29 lakh more affordable than before.

2025 Citroen C3 X Top New Features

Over the now-discontinued Shine variants, the 2025 C3 X Shine variants offer several new features including:

Cruise control with speed limiter
Auto-dimming IRVM
Keyless entry
LED projector fog lamps
LED cabin lighting
Rear USB Type-C charger

Citroen are also offering an optional 360-degree surround view camera for an additional sum of Rs. 25,000. Other features carried over from the older Shine variants include LED projector headlamps and DRLs, leatherette-wrapped dashboard, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and automatic climate control

Safety features onboard the new C3 X Shine variants include:

6 airbags
Electronic stability program (ESP)
Hill hold assist
ISOFIX child seat mounts
Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS)

2025 Citroen C3 X Powertrain Specifications

The C3 X variants are available with both the 1.2L normal petrol and 1.2L turbo petrol engine options. The normal petrol engine is only available with a 5-speed manual while the turbo petrol engine gets the option of a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.

The new C3 X Shine variants continue to rival the Tata Punch, Hyundai Exter as well as the Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite from a segment above.
