Kia India have announced a significant milestone for their recently launched Carens Clavis and Carens Clavis EV models, with combined bookings exceeding 21,000 units within just 4 months. The strong booking numbers, comprising over 20,000 units for the Carens Clavis and more than 1,000 for the Carens Clavis EV
2025 Carens Clavis: A Versatile Family Car
The Carens Clavis is engineered to be a people mover for modern Indian families. It offers a blend of SUV-like with the comfort of an MPV and the everyday practicality of a family car. The Carens Clavis is packed with segment-first and best-in-class features that enhance every journey such as:
- Comfort & Convenience: It offers 2nd-row sliding, reclining, and one-touch electric tumble seats, along with a segment-first “Boss Mode” for extending leg room.
- Technology & Design: The cabin features dual 12.3-inch displays, an 8-speaker Bose audio system, 64-colour ambient lighting, and a dual dashcam. A unique climate control/infotainment swap switch provides an intuitive user experience.
2025 Carens Clavis EV: India's Newest Electric Family Vehicle
As Kia’s first ‘Made-in-India’ electric vehicle, the Carens Clavis EV is designed to meet the evolving needs of the EV market. It offers an electric motor with an output of 171PS and 255Nm of torque. Customers can choose from 2 battery options:
- 51.4kWh battery with an ARAI-certified range of 490 km.
- 42kWh battery with an ARAI-certified range of 404 km.
The EV variant supports fast charging from 10% to 80% in a mere 39 minutes using a 100kW DC charger, making it ideal for both city commutes and long-distance travel. The cabin mirrors the premium experience of the ICE model, featuring a dual display and 90 connected car features.
