Good news for those looking for a more fuel-efficient and eco-friendly compact SUV! Nissan Motor India have announced that their B2-SUV, the 2025 Magnite, is now available with a government-approved CNG retrofitment kit. This move aims to offer customers an alternate fuel option and enhance the Magnite’s value.

2025 Nissan Magnite CNG – Key Details

The CNG kit for the Nissan Magnite is fully developed and manufactured by Motozen, a third-party specialist, ensuring it meets all regulatory standards. Customers can get this complete retrofitment for an additional price of Rs. 74,999 only. The installation of these CNG kits will be carried out at government-authorised fitment centres, ensuring safety and compliance. All fitted CNG kits will be certified and homologated, ensuring they meet current local regulations and safety standards. Motozen will also provide the warranty for the kit's components.

The CNG kit option is only available for the Magnite variants equipped with 1L normal petrol engine with manual gearbox, which includes Visia, Visia Plus, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna and Tekna Plus. Customers opting for the CNG retrofitment kit can expect significantly enhanced mileage, making it a cost-effective choice for daily commutes and long drives.

2025 Magnite CNG To Roll Out In Phases

The rollout of this eco-friendly CNG option will happen in phases across the country. In the first phase, Nissan customers in 7 states can order the CNG kit installation through Nissan authorised dealerships:

Haryana
Uttar Pradesh
Maharashtra
Gujarat
Kerala
Karnataka

Nissan plans to expand this offering to other states in the second phase.
