Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition Makes A Comeback; Launched At Rs. 8.30 Lakh | V3Cars
Nissan Motor India have officially launched the 2025 Magnite Kuro Special Edition, a premium variant of their B2-segment SUV. Priced from Rs. 8.30 lakh (ex-showroom), the latest version of the Magnite Kuro Edition is based on the 2025 Magnite, which recently scored a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP. It offers an all-black exterior as well as interior along Japanese-inspired design cues.

The 2025 Magnite Kuro Edition is based on the N-Connecta variant of the SUV. Compared to the standard Magnite’s N-Connecta variant, the Magnite Kuro Edition is priced at a premium of Rs. 33,500 to Rs. 33,700, depending on the transmission chosen.
Bookings for the Magnite Kuro Edition are now open for an attractive amount of Rs. 11,000, available at all authorised Nissan dealerships and on the official Nissan Motor India website.
2025 Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition: What Is It?
The Magnite Kuro Edition is defined by its all-black treatment, both on the exterior and interior, creating a commanding and elegant presence.
Exterior design highlights on the 2025 Magnite Kuro Edition include:
- ‘KURO’ badge on the left fender
- Piano black front grille
- Black front and rear skid plates
- Gloss black roof rails
- 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels
- Black door handles
- Smoked LED headlamps with integrated turn Indicators
Interior design highlights of the Magnite Kuro Edition include:
- A dark-themed interior
- Piano black finished gear shift garnish
- Piano black finished steering wheel insert
- Blacked-out sun visors and door trims

Both engine options for the Magnite Kuro Edition get a 5-speed manual transmission. The turbo petrol engine is also available with a CVT automatic while the normal petrol engine is offered with an automated manual transmission (AMT). Nissan India are yet to confirm if the Magnite Kuro Edition is available with the government-approve CNG kit that was introduced a few months ago.
2025 Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition Safety Features
The New Nissan Magnite recently achieved a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP. This makes it one of the safest SUVs sold in its segment. Built on the enhanced CMF-A+ platform, the Magnite facelift (launched in October 2024) boasts over 40 standard safety features, including:

- ABS (Anti-lock Braking System)
- EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution)
- ESC (Electronic Stability Control)
- TCS (Traction Control System)
- HSA (Hill Start Assist)
- Brake Assist

2025 Magnite Facelift Now Available With Grey Colour Option
In addition to the Kuro Edition, Nissan Motor India have also introduced an all-new metallic grey colour option for the Magnite facelift. This new colour option is available in the Tekna, Tekna Plus and N Connecta variants, offering customers a fresh choice to personalise their vehicle.
Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, commented on the launch, stating:
The New Nissan Magnite KURO Special Edition embodies bold design and refined craftsmanship, thoughtfully created in response to strong customer demand for a distinctive, premium, and feature-packed offering. The previous edition of the Nissan Magnite KURO Special Edition received an overwhelming response from customers for its striking all-black aesthetic and unique identity.

The New Nissan Magnite KURO Special Edition elevates the Magnite’s SUV presence while staying true to Nissan’s core promise of exceptional value, advanced innovation, and uncompromised safety. The recent 5-star GNCAP is testimony to our commitment to safety and deliver world class products from India under our ‘One Car, One World’ strategy. To celebrate this achievement, we are also introducing a brand new colour - Metallic Grey to the Magnite line-up.
