2025 Tata Altroz Facelift Teased – New And Updated Features | V3Cars
Tata Motors have released multiple teasers for the Altroz facelift, which is set to launch on May 22, 2025. The Altroz, which first went on sale in January 2020, will receive a comprehensive cosmetic update and feature revision. Let’s take a look at the details we could take away from the teasers.

2025 Tata Altroz Facelift – What To Expect?
Based on the latest teasers, we can confirm the 2025 Altroz facelift will maintain its core silhouette, but get a refreshed exterior design. Key updates include a revised front fascia featuring new twin-pod LED headlights with eyebrow-like LED DRLs. The grille and the bumper receive updates as well, with the latter now featuring a larger air dam.
At the rear, the 2025 Altroz facelift features new LED tail lamps connected by a LED light bar. The rear bumper get a more aggressive design with a sporty, dual-tone finish. The Altroz facelift is expected to come with new alloy wheel designs (likely 16-inch) and illuminated flush-fitting door handles, similar to those seen on the Tata Curvv. We also expect Tata to offer new colours for the Altroz facelift as well.
On the inside, the Altroz facelift gets a revised dashboard design with new, soft-touch materials and new colour options for the upholstery, including a new beige color scheme. It also features the 2-spoke steering wheel with illuminated logo from the Nexon. The biggest change, however, is the addition of a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system as well as the addition of a new digital instrument cluster with Google Maps compatibility. In terms of comfort and convenience, the Altroz facelift is expected to offer ventilated front seats (currently limited to Altroz Racer), a single-pane electronic sunroof and wireless charging with cooling. The Altroz will retain its premium 8-speaker Harman sound system.
The Altroz facelift is expected to retain its existing safety features, including 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors with a 360-degree camera and electronic stability control (ESC).
2025 Tata Altroz Powertrain Options
Tata Motors are likely to retain the current powertrain options for the 2025 Altroz. These include a 1.2L normal petrol, 1.2L turbo petrol, 1.2L CNG, and a 1.5L diesel.
The 1.2L normal petrol engine, which produces 88PS and 115Nm, is offered with a choice of 5-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT). The 1.2L turbo petrol, which is currently limited to the Altroz Racer, produces 120PS of power and 170Nm of torque. It is offered with a 6-speed manual only.
The 1.2L CNG engine produces 74PS of power and 103Nm of torque. It is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission. The 1.5L diesel engine puts out 90PS of power and 200Nm of torque and gets a 5-speed manual transmission.
