Although Kia India have unveiled the second-generation Seltos, the brand is yet to reveal the variant-wise prices for the SUV. However, Kia have opened bookings for the 2026 Seltos and announced that deliveries of their C-segment SUV will begin in mid-January.

2026 Kia Seltos Variant-Wise Engine, Transmission Options

In this article, we’ll explore the variant-wise powertrain options and their specifications. Kia are offering the new Seltos in 10 variants – HTE, HTE (O), HTK, HTK (O), HTX, HTX (A), GTX, GTX (A), X-Line, and X-Line (A).

2026 Kia Seltos – Variant-Wise Engine And Transmission Options

The 2026 Seltos is available with the following 6 powertrain options:

1.5L normal petrol-manual (6MT)
1.5L normal petrol-automatic (CVT)
1.5L turbo petrol-auto-clutch manual (6ACMT)
1.5L turbo petrol-automatic (7DCT)
1.5L turbo diesel-manual (6MT)
1.5L turbo diesel-automatic (6TC)

The 1.5L normal petrol engine with the 6-speed manual transmission is available in the HTE, HTE (O), HTK, HTK (O), HTX and HTX (A) variants.
The 1.5L normal petrol engine with the CVT automatic transmission is available in all variants except the base Seltos HTE.
The 1.5L turbo petrol engine with the 6-speed auto-clutch automatic transmission (ACCT) is only available in the HTE (O), HTK and HTK (O) variants.
The 1.5L turbo petrol engine with the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) is available in the HTK (O), HTX, HTX (A), GTX, GTX (A), X Line and X Line (A) variants.
The 1.5L diesel engine with the 6-speed manual transmission is available in the HTE, HTE (O), HTK, HTK (O), and HTX variants.
The 1.5L diesel engine with the 6-speed torque converter (TC) automatic is available in all variants but the base Seltos HTE.
The top Kia Seltos X Line variants are only available with automatic transmission options
