2026 MG Hector And Hector Plus Variant-Wise Prices

MG have only revealed the prices of the Hector and Hector Plus’s turbo petrol variants:

• The prices mentioned are above are introductory and for limited units only
• At these prices, the 2026 Hector Smart base variant is now Rs. 2 lakh more affordable than before
• The Hector Plus Sharp Pro variant is now Rs. 1.63 lakh more affordable than before 
• The Hector and Hector Plus’s top Savvy Pro variant is only available with the turbo petrol-automatic powertrain
• MG Motor are yet to reveal the variant-wise prices for the Hector and Hector Plus diesel

2026 MG Hector And Hector Plus Exterior And Interior Enhancements

As reported exclusively by V3Cars, the 2026 Hector and Hector Plus get a new grille design. While it is not as loud as the previous update, which was introduced 2 years ago, it still screams “look at me”. Apart from the new grille, the 2026 model gets refreshed bumpers with chrome elements. Both the Hector and Hector Plus continue to ride on 18-inch alloy wheels, albeit with an updated design.

On the inside, the Hector now gets a  grey dual-tone interior while the Hector Plus offers a tan/light brown dual-tone finish. In terms of feature enhancements MG say they have improved the RAM of the touchscreen infotainment system, which should take care of complaints about its slow interface. The touchscreen system now also supports gestures such as:

• 2-finger swipe up/down: AC temperature up/down
• 2-finger swipe left/right: Fan speed
• 3-finger swipe up/down: Music volume up/down

Other feature highlights of the 2026 Hector and Hector Plus include:

• Panoramic sunroof
• 14-inch vertical touchscreen
• Front ventilated seats
• Powered tailgate
• Infinity sound system

In terms of safety, the updated MG SUVs offer:

• 6 airbags
• ADAS (Level-2)
• All 4 disc brakes
• Electronic Parking Brake (AT only)
• Tyre pressure monitoring system
• 360-degree camera
• Reverse parking camera
• Auto lock/unlock

As for colour options, the 2026 Hector and Hector Plus are now available in:

• Black
• Silver
• Red
• Blue
• White

2026 MG Hector And Hector Plus Powertrain Specs 

MG continue to offer the Hector and Hector Plus with the same engine and transmission options as before. They include a 1.5L turbo petrol with the option of a 6-speed manual and CVT automatic transmission, and a 2L turbo diesel engine with a 6-speed manual transmission.

2026 MG Hector And Hector Plus Bookings And Delivery Timeline

Bookings for the refreshed Hector and Hector Plus are now open. MG are yet to reveal the bookings amount and delivery timeline for the updated SUVs. In terms of rivals, the Hector and Hector Plus continue to rival the likes of the Tata Harrier and Safari, Mahindra XUV700 and Hyundai Alcazar.
