Top 10 Features Of 2026 Tata Tiago Petrol & CNG Explained | V3Cars
Tata Motors have launched the 2026 Tiago petrol, CNG and EV today. Prices for the Tiago petrol and CNG variants start from Rs. 4.69 lakh and Rs. 5.79 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. While the refreshed styling and redesigned dashboard are among the biggest visual changes, Tata have also introduced several premium and segment-first features aimed at improving the overall ownership experience.
Here are the top 10 features of the 2026 Tata Tiago petrol and CNG lineup:
1. 5-Inch Floating Digital Driver’s Display With Bluetooth Connectivity
One of the most interesting additions to the Tiago lineup is the new 5-inch floating digital driver’s display. However, its functionality differs depending on the variant. In the Smart variant, the display works primarily as a digital instrument cluster without Bluetooth connectivity features.

Buyers opting for the Pure variant get a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) functionality, which enables Bluetooth-based features such as hands-free calling, SOS notifications and music playback support. This should prove useful as these variants do not offer a touchscreen infotainment system.
2. 10.24-Inch Floating Touchscreen Infotainment System
Available from the Pure Plus variant variants onwards, the Tiago offers a 10.24-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

This display is the same unit that was offered in the XZ Plus variant of the outgoing Tiago.
3. Rotary Gear Selector And Paddle Shifters
The updated Tiago AMT variants also receive a major upgrade in the form of a rotary gear selector, replacing the conventional AMT gear lever setup.

The new selector gets simple R, N and D markings for Reverse, Neutral and Drive, giving the centre console a cleaner and more premium appearance.

Tata have also added paddle shifters for the Tiago AMT and Tiago CNG AMT variants, allowing drivers to manually control gear shifts without taking their hands off the steering wheel.
4. Connected LED Tail Lamps
The 2026 Tiago gets connected LED tail lamps from the Pure Plus A variant onwards, bringing the hatchback in line with current design trends and giving the rear profile a wider and more premium appearance.

The Creative and Creative Plus variant also offers LED headlamps.
5. 360-Degree Surround View Camera
Tata are also offering a 360-degree surround view camera system in the updated Tiago’s Creative and Creative Plus variants, which should significantly improve visibility while parking and manoeuvring in tight urban spaces. It’s a segment-first feature as Maruti and Hyundai do not offer it in the Swift or Grand i10 Nios, respectively.
6. Blind View Monitor
Another segment-first feature addition is the blind view monitor, which improves visibility around the vehicle and enhances safety during lane changes and turns. Like the 360-degree camera, this feature is offered in the top Creative and Creative Plus variants. Features like this are usually associated with cars from higher segments, making its inclusion in the Tiago particularly noteworthy.
7. Fully Automatic Climate Control With Rear AC Vents

The updated Tiago also offers fully automatic climate control along with rear AC vents, improving comfort for both front and rear passengers. Rear AC vents are a new addition to the Tiago lineup.
8. 15-Inch Dual-Tone Alloy Wheels
The top Creative and Creative Plus variants of the Tiago now get 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, which enhance the hatchback’s stance and visual appeal. The new alloy wheel design also complements the refreshed exterior styling.
9. Twin CNG Cylinder Technology
The Tiago CNG continues to offer Tata’s twin-cylinder technology, which was first introduced in the previous-generation model.

By splitting the CNG tank into 2 smaller cylinders placed beneath the boot floor, Tata have managed to offer a more usable luggage area compared to conventional single-cylinder CNG hatchbacks.
10. Auto-Folding ORVMs
The refreshed Tiago also gets electrically adjustable and auto-folding outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), adding convenience while parking in tighter spaces.
