The Tata Nexon is one of the best-selling B2-segment SUVs in the country. Over the years, the Nexon has gained a lot of features but that has resulted in substantial price hikes recently. The Mahindra XUV300 is one of the safest sub-compact SUVs in the market with a 5-star NCAP safety rating, like the Tata Nexon.

In this article, we share the features the Tata Nexon gets over the Mahindra XUV300.
The top variant of the Mahindra XUV300 comes with side thorax and curtain airbags over the Nexon, which only gets 2 airbags. However, it is worth mentioning that both the XUV300 and Nexon come with a 5-star Global NCAP crash test rating.
The XUV300 offers rear disc brakes as standard across all variants. They offer better stopping force over the Tata Nexon, which comes with drum brakes at the rear.

The XUV300 offers front parking sensors in its top variant. Front parking sensors help the driver position the car properly while parking in tight spots. The Nexon, on the other hand, only comes with rear parking sensors.
While the XUV300 lacks rear AC vents, it offers a USB charging port for the 2nd-row. This feature is shockingly missing in the Tata Nexon.

The XUV300 offers adjustable headrests for all 5 passengers whereas the Tata Nexon offers a fixed headrest for the 5th passenger. An adjustable headrest offers better support and prevents whiplash in the event of a collision. It also improves comfort for taller passengers.
The XUV300 comes with a dual-zone climate control in its top variants. Dual-zone climate control lets you set different temperatures for the front driver and co-passenger.
