SUV Segment April 2024 Car Sales - YoY Change

  • Top Gainers:
    • Tata Punch: The Tata Punch in the B1 segment experienced a significant year-on-year increase of 75.21% in sales.
    • Maruti Suzuki Brezza: The Maruti Suzuki Brezza in the B2 segment saw a notable year-on-year increase of 44.58% in sales.
    • Mahindra Scorpio N + Classic: The Mahindra Scorpio N + Classic in the D1 segment experienced a significant year-on-year increase of 53.97% in sales. 
  • Top Losers:
    • Tata Nexon: The Tata Nexon in the B2 segment faced a notable year-on-year decrease of 25.56% in sales. 
    • MG Hector + Hector Plus: The MG Hector + Hector Plus in the D1 segment saw a significant year-on-year decrease of 41.57% in sales. This decline could be attributed to various factors such as market saturation, pricing strategy, or the introduction of newer competitors in the segment.
  • Other Insights:
    • Segment Dynamics: The data reflects mixed performance across different SUV segments, with some experiencing growth while others facing declines. Understanding these segment dynamics is crucial for manufacturers to tailor their strategies and offerings effectively.
